Kakashi drove through the near empty streets to his apartment. With the light traffic it was a short drive to the building. He parked his car in his usual spot, got his belongings together and exited the vehicle, looking around to see where Kurenai had parked.
He parked a three cars away from her. Watching him in her rear view mirror she saw when he came out and did so herself. Slamming her car door and walking towards him s she glanced at the apartment complex.
“Nice building.” She stated as she neared him,turning her attention the masked male.
Kakashi looked at his building and shrugged lightly. “It’s home I suppose.” He smiled and nodded his head in direction to the doors. “Let’s be going then.” He chuckled and slowly walked to the door of the apartment building.
She stuck close behind him as together they strolled down the corridors and climbs a couple of stairs until they were at his floor and at his door at last.
“Well then let’s see what lies behind door number one,shall we?”
She teased,referring to the expected mess that she’d already visualized in his apartment.
Kakashi lead her into the building, deciding to get some exercise and take the stairs rather than the elevator. After a few flights they arrived at the apartment, Kakashi was thankful he had been smart enough to run back here and clean during his lunch period. He slowly opened the door and gestured her in. “Of course.” He chuckled.
She went in before him, a playful grin on her cheek which slowly fell and left with a confused expression. Kakashi’s place,contrary to what he told her earlier in school about it being a mess was surprisingly clean. Not a drop of clothing was on the floor;surfaces were wiped and there wasn’t any sign of untidyness anywhere;at least not in the living room as she could see. Looking over her shoulder at Kakashi,she raised an eyebrow.

The atmosphere being too hot outside in the parking space,Kurenai decided to wait in her car with A/C midway. The cold breeze blowing into her face caused her to relax,her eyes peered out her tinted glass to see Kakashi waving at her as he made his way to his car. She smiled and waved back.Not bothering to roll down her car window.
Kakashi nodded when she waved back and walked to his own car. He put his stuff on the passengers side and then started the car, and a/c as well. He slowly backed out of the parking space and awaited for Kurenai to follow. Once they were both out of their spaces he drove to his apartment, Kurenai closely following.

For a while he had forgotten why he cleaned his apartment but while he was gathering his things, Kurenai arrived and asked if he was ready to go. “Ah yes let’s head out then.” He smiled kindly.
She returned his smile.Adjusting the strap to her handbag on her shoulder as she shifted slightly to moved away from the door still.
“I’ll give you a ride home. That way I can get the books without the hassle of going home just to go out again…..not to mention I’m just /dying/ to see your apartment.”
She told him. Her last statement filled with sarcasm as she gave him a teasing grin.
